Job summary

GFT Technologies Poland is seeking a Senior Java ETL Consultant to design, develop, and support enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve engineering standards, and support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring stable production services.

You will design and develop enterprise applications, build ETL solutions for data migration, and translate business requirements

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience.
• Strong Java, Spring, REST API and ETL skills.
• Experience with system integration, data migration and transformation.
• Proficient in Agile/Waterfall environments and DevOps.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiar with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, SonarQube.
• Experience with JUnit and automated testing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Willingness to work hybrid from Kraków, 8 days per month.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Framework, and REST API and ETL development skills

• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and development automation
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit
