Job summary

GFT TECHNOLOGIES SE is seeking an experienced Senior Java ETL Consultant in Kraków for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across the full software lifecycle. You will work with stakeholders to deliver scalable ETL solutions and drive digital transformation while ensuring stable production services.

You will design and develop enterprise applications, translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, and collaborate with teams across the project

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software development experience
• Strong Java, Spring Framework, and REST API and ETL development skills
• Experience with system integration, data migration and data transformation projects
• Experience working in Agile and Waterfall environments
• Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and development automation
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Git/GitHub, Jenkins, Ansible, and SonarQube
• Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Openness to work hybrid from our client's office (Kraków) 8 days a month

• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes
• Conduct code reviews and mentor less experienced engineers
• Hybrid work from Kraków office 8 days a month

What will you do?

As a Senior Java ETL Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle. You will work with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, improve engineering standards, support digital transformation initiatives, and ensure stable production services.
