Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to build scalable, secure server-side solutions and a reusable client integration system for a mission-critical SaaS platform. The role emphasizes Java and SQL proficiency, microservices architecture, and a DevOps mindset to automate and improve cloud software delivery.

You will collaborate with design and product teams, estimate timelines, and contribute to documentation and automated build/deploy processes.

Qualifications

5+ years SaaS experience.
High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
Knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture.
DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
Good understanding of observability and CI/CD practices.
Proven ability to meet deadlines and drive results.
Upper-intermediate or higher English proficiency.
Experience building software in the cloud (AWS) is a nice to have.

Responsibilities

Build a reusable client integration system following secure cloud software practices.
Collaborate with design and product teams to understand requirements and plan sprints.
Plan and estimate construction and delivery timelines.
Contribute to technical documentation and automated build/deploy processes.
Review code and participate in pull-request deployments.
