Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Senior Java Engineer to build scalable, secure server-side solutions for a mission-critical SaaS platform. You will create a reusable client integration system and collaborate with design and product teams to plan and deliver features.

The candidate should bring 5+ years of SaaS experience, strong Java and SQL skills, microservices experience, and a DevOps mindset with CI/CD and observability. Fluent English is required; remote and office options are available.

Qualifications

5+ years of SaaS experience.
High level of proficiency in Java and SQL.
Knowledge of or prior experience with microservices architecture.
DevOps mindset of automation and continuous improvement.
Good understanding of observability and familiarity with strong CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

Build a cleanly designed, reusable client integration system adhering to secure cloud software best practices from start to finish.
Collaborate with design and product teams to understand requirements, create estimates, plan sprints, and meet delivery timelines.
Plan and accurately estimate construction and delivery timelines.
Contribute to technical documentation and automated build and deployment processes designed to increase engineer efficiency.
Review code submitted by other software engineers and submit your own code for review as part of the pull-request deployment process.
