Tenarai Europe in Kraków is seeking a Senior Java Developer for a client in the aviation industry. You will join an engineering team delivering scalable Java applications and services with a strong emphasis on performance and code quality.

The role requires hands-on development, design of robust architectures, REST and SOAP integrations, and collaboration with architects and leaders. We value independence, analytical thinking, and the ability to learn new technologies.

Qualifications

• Proven Java development experience with modern Java and J2EE.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework 5 and Hibernate.
• Hands-on with RESTful and SOAP services and database systems.
• Experience with TDD and testing frameworks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git workflows.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve Java-based applications using Java 8+.
• Design solutions with solid architecture and best practices.
• Implement REST and SOAP integrations and services.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases (Oracle/MySQL/MongoDB).
• Write automated tests following TDD using JUnit/Mockito.
• Participate in CI/CD pipelines and code quality initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects and leaders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Diagnose issues and perform root cause analysis.
