Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking a Senior Java Software Engineer with GCP to design, develop and maintain banking applications in a modern tech stack. You will work in a self-organizing Agile team with QA and BAs, focusing on security, reliability and scalable solutions.

The role requires 5+ years of Java experience, Java 17, and hands-on GCP and Kubernetes, with English and Polish at B2. Hybrid work arrangement available in Poland.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of commercial experience in Java development.
• Strong knowledge of Java 17.
• Hands-on experience with cloud technologies, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience working with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS databases.
• Strong knowledge of software development best practices and design principles, including SOLID, DRY, KISS, and Clean Code.
• English & Polish proficiency at B2 level.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain banking domain applications.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA Engineers in a self-organizing Agile (Scrum) team.
• Ensure the security and reliability of developed solutions.
• Create and maintain unit and automated tests.
• Work with large-scale datasets of various structures.
• Integrate applications with internal banking systems.
• Optimize and enhance existing solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
