Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance Java-based applications per requirements.
• Analyze existing code, troubleshoot, and improve performance and reliability.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support integration and UAT.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (GitLab, Azure Pipelines, Terraform).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the SDLC, including release management and production support.

Job description

Technologies: Highly scalable and flexible web application based on state-of-the-art technologies like Java, JSF, JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock, JBehave, Grails, Spring, Hibernate, Sybase, Maven, GitLab, Liquibase, JMeter, Sublime, React, Cucumber.

Process: Agile process implemented, including artifacts such as product backlog refinement, sprints, product backlogs, retros, velocity, and feedback from end users. Quality is everything. UI/ UX developer and TDD/ BDD approaches with extended OOP/ clean practices on the board.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance Java-based applications in line with business and functional requirements.

Analyse existing code, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance, reliability, and maintainability improvements.

Perform unit testing, code reviews, and support system integration and user acceptance testing activities.

Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and deployment automation using GitLab, Azure Pipelines, Terraform, and Unix scripting (around 30% of the time).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, release management, and production support.

Must have Skills
