Job summary

emagine is seeking a Senior Java Developer to build and maintain fraud management applications using Java and Apache Kafka. You will enhance real-time fraud monitoring capabilities by processing data in near real-time and collaborating with a cross-functional team.

Role requires strong server-side Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and SQL skills, with optional Kubernetes and AWS Lambda experience. Remote work with 3 days in an office in Poland, with presence in Warsaw, Gdańsk, or Łódź.

Qualifications

• Strong server-side Java development experience.
• Experience with Java EE/Spring Boot.
• Expertise in web services (SOAP/REST).
• Experience with Kafka messaging.
• Performance analysis and optimization skills.
• Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle) and SQL.
• Knowledge of microservices and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications for the Fraud Management Domain.
• Work collaboratively within a scrum team.
• Design solutions and ensure maintainability.
