Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a skilled Java backend developer to join a Regulatory Reporting Platform for a large US investment bank. You will design, build, and optimize data pipelines and batch jobs, ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires 6+ years of commercial Java experience, strong SQL skills, and the ability to collaborate with distributed teams in Ukraine, Poland, and the US.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of commercial Java experience.
• Experience designing scalable, high-performance backend applications.
• Good knowledge of SQL and handling large datasets from multiple sources.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a global distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain solutions for a large-scale Regulatory Reporting Platform.
• Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Java and Apache Spark.
• Implement scalable data ingestion, transformation, and enrichment from multiple sources.
• Develop batch processing jobs to generate regulatory reports across jurisdictions.
• Ensure data quality, validation, reconciliation, and consistency throughout reporting.
