Job summary

emagine Polska seeks a Senior Java Software Engineer to develop Java, Diagnostics, and OTA offboard software. You will focus on vehicle diagnostics and OTA update mechanisms, building backend infrastructure for offboard automotive solutions, including telemetry data management.

Responsibilities include building scalable Java/Spring services, managing cloud infrastructure for OTA updates, and testing with CANoe to validate backend data flows with vehicle endpoints.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in backend software engineering (automotive domain).
• Core Java development with Spring Framework / Spring Boot, RESTful API design and development, microservices, Maven/Gradle, JUnit, testing, OO design and patterns.
• Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); containerization (Docker); Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
• API gateway and service security; SQL and NoSQL databases; telemetry data processing; OTA software update architecture.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services and API architectures using Java/Spring.
• Implement offboard diagnostics systems to process vehicle telemetry data.
• Manage cloud infrastructure for secure OTA updates.
• Utilize CANoe environments to test backend API interactions with simulated vehicle endpoints.
