Job summary

ARQ is seeking a Backend Engineer (Java) in Krakow to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems powering cutting-edge fintech products. You’ll work with a talented team on REST APIs, microservices, and secure transaction flows.

Requirements include strong Java expertise, a Bachelor’s degree, and excellent English communication. The role is full-time, hybrid, with stock options and discretionary bonuses, and in-office 3–4 days per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Math, Physics or related field.
• Proven backend experience with Java in high-growth environments.
• Strong communication skills in English, written and spoken.
