Job summary

Grant Thornton International in Poznań, Poland, is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology and transformation initiatives from initiation through execution and handover. You will coordinate global teams, manage budgets and governance, and ensure delivery aligned with priorities.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience in enterprise environments, strong PMO and risk skills, and fluency in Polish and English.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within enterprise environments.
• Proven experience delivering complex cross-functional technology or transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of project governance, financial management, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience working within formal PMO frameworks and delivery methodologies.
• Strong communication and executive presentation skills.
• Experience working with geographically distributed teams and delivery partners.
• Fluency on Polish and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology and transformation projects.
• Build and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, and delivery schedules.
• Manage project scope, budget, forecasts, resources, and financial performance.
• Coordinate global, cross-functional teams, including internal resources, vendors, and Global Delivery Centers.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies through proactive governance.
• Prepare executive-level reporting, status updates, and steering committee materials.
• Facilitate project governance forums and decision-making processes.
• Ensure alignment with PMO standards, portfolio priorities, and organizational objectives.
• Support change management, communication, training, and operational readiness activities.
• Drive successful handover into business operations and ongoing ownership.

Job description

• As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will lead strategic technology and transformation initiatives from initiation through execution and operational handover. You will work closely with business leaders, product teams, architects, engineers, vendors, and operational stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with organizational priorities.
• You will be responsible for project planning, governance, budget management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, reporting, change readiness, and delivery execution across a diverse portfolio of initiatives.
• Depending on your background and experience, you may support projects in one or more of the following domains:
• Oracle Platforms (Oracle Cloud, EBS, Fusion)
• Professional Services Automation (DayShape)
• IT Security and Cybersecurity
• Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) and Product Governance
• Risk, Compliance and Independence Programs

Your responsibilities

• Familiarity with project and portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar
• Fluency on Polish and English
