Job description
Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a Senior IT Project Manager to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Mexico City. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. As a Senior IT Project Manager at Marsh, you will bring your expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure, endpoint, and real estate projects. You will work on several projects across technology in parallel with different stakeholders and sponsors.

Responsibilities
  • Understand the requirements of new assignments by ensuring that assumptions are challenged, technical proposals are tested and business requirements validated with a view to obtaining the best result for the company as a whole
  • Manage projects including determining milestones, holding team members accountable for assigned responsibilities, identifying risks, facilitating problem resolution with clients and internal stakeholders and managing resource and budget forecasts
  • Ensure that significant problems are identified at the earliest opportunity and that solutions are identified and implemented in line with the change control process or escalated as appropriate
  • Manage lifecycle and operational aspects of projects to include resources, scope, schedule, cost, assumptions and dependencies
  • Prepare status reports and interface with stakeholders to ensure strategy and execution are aligned with defined objectives
  • Ensure methodology compliance, auditing and tracking of ongoing projects; using the agreed tools at regular intervals to ensure projects are on course and follows the approved methodology.
  • Recommend corrective actions on projects or seek guidance for corrective actions if required.
What you need to have
  • Bachelors degree in a relevant discipline
  • 7+ years of project management experience with a record of accomplishment leading Information Technology projects
  • Experience with project financials
  • Self-starter and self-directed to plan and execute projects
  • Motivated, productive professional individuals, who works independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced level of English is essential
