Job summary

Reply Group is seeking a skilled backend and cloud engineer in Poland. You'll design and evolve IoT and cloud architectures at OBI Smart Technologies Poland, working across device communication, telemetry processing, and automation workflows.

Your role involves developing scalable backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, and handling AWS environments. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of backend engineering experience, a solid grasp of REST APIs, and fluent communication skills in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend engineering with strong expertise in TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong hands-on experience with NestJS and designing scalable REST APIs in production environments.
• Deep experience with AWS cloud services including IoT Core, Lambda, Kinesis, SQS, Timestream, IAM, and CloudWatch.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and Fastify.
• Lead the design and evolution of REST APIs using OpenAPI standards.
• Build scalable data processing and automation workflows for telemetry data.
• Drive engineering best practices, observability, reliability and security standards.
