Job Summary
The Specialist is a finance professional with comprehensive knowledge of systems, processes, and policies, working internally with United Kingdom and Ireland. The engagement business partner (EBP) acts as the Finance single point of contact, collaborating closely with client‑serving engagement teams to enable successful delivery across the full engagement lifecycle.
The Opportunity
- Serve as the Finance single point of contact for Engagement Partners and Managers, providing guidance and overseeing the Opportunity Engagement Lifecycle (OEL).
- Delegate OEL tasks to Centres of Excellence (CoEs), monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage financial and quality risks across your engagement portfolio, providing strategic advice to improve compliance and revenue stability.
- Ensure compliance with service line specific policies and parameters.
- Support the annual external audit process.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of client opportunities and engagements as the Finance single point of contact.
- Apply service line OEL policies and guidelines to ensure compliance throughout the lifecycle.
- Monitor and advise on risk assessment and compliance processes.
- Advise on pricing models, engagement budgets, and financial implications of engagement structures.
- Support Estimate-to-Complete (ETC) processes and related financial updates.
- Manage portfolio working capital activity.
- Share insights on margin, pricing, and engagement structures to improve client service.
- Upskill and share knowledge on OEL best practices with client servers.
- Develop relationships across Finance and non‑Finance stakeholders to provide holistic Finance support.
- Review CoE work for accuracy and take ownership of urgent tasks.
- Engage with CoE Managers to identify issues, trends, and training needs.
- Provide subject‑matter expertise for OEL training and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and automation.

Qualifications
- Minimum of two to three years’ experience in a client‑facing or finance‑related role within professional services or corporate environment.
- Experience managing stakeholders and delivering high‑impact client service.
- Experience in hybrid and fast‑paced environments.
- Strong work ethic and adaptability in fast‑paced environments.
- Ability to build relationships at all levels within the firm.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
