Job Title: Senior Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Płock, mazowieckie, Polska
Job Description:
The person employed as a Senior Instrumentation Engineer will be responsible for:
- Independent design and supervision in Instrumentation,
- Identification and synthesis of design assumptions and requirements at all stages of design,
- Preparation of design drawings, specifications, and MTO in Instrumentation industries,
- Experience with 3D modeling activities,
- Selection and specification of instrumentation devices,
- Internal project cooperation,
- Preparation of proposals for Instrumentation works and deliveries,
- Preparation of Material Requisitions and Bid Evaluation,
- Analysis and review of supplier documentation/drawings, collaboration with suppliers,
- Support of the Section Head in departmental activities.
Preferred but Not Mandatory Skills:
The Senior Instrumentation Engineer may also be responsible for:
- Design and supervision in telecommunications,
- Preparation of design specifications, drawings, and MTO in telecommunications,
- Material Requisitions and Bid Evaluation for telecommunications,
- Analysis of telecom supplier documentation/drawings, collaboration with suppliers,
- Design and supervision in Automation,
- Preparation of design specifications, drawings, and MTO in Automation industries,
- Material Requisitions and Bid Evaluation for Automation,
- Analysis of Automation supplier documentation/drawings, collaboration with suppliers.
Requirements:
- Strong design skills in Instrumentation and Automation (refinery, petrochemical, or chemical industry sector) – minimum 10 years of experience,
- Good English skills – minimum B2 level,
- Knowledge of DCS, ESD, FDS, GDS, TELECOM systems (preferred),
- Experience in SIL/SIF analysis verification,
- SIL certification (preferred),
- Experience with Autocad, SmartPlant Instrumentation, 3D modeling tools (e.g., AVEVA3D, SmartPlant 3D),
- Experience working with suppliers of instrumentation and automation systems,
- Strong work ethics and positive attitude.
