Maersk in Warsaw seeks an experienced Indirect Tax Operations Senior Specialist to support the global indirect tax function and ITX projects. You will prepare and review returns, mentor staff, and help drive regional compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The role requires 5–10 years in indirect tax, strong Excel and English skills, and SAP experience in a fast-paced, international environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Accounting & Finance or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in indirect tax compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review indirect tax returns for complex entities.
• Support and mentor Preparer/Specialists in day-to-day compliance.
• Monitor ITX legislation and provide regional advisories.
• Maintain tax workpapers and audit readiness.
• Assist with ITX reporting solution implementation.
• Colate data for management, authorities, and auditors.
