Job summary

Takeda SCE in Lodz, Poland is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead end-to-end Source-to-Contract activities for Indirect categories, including Professional Services, HR, Facilities, Sales and Marketing. You will develop strategies, negotiate with suppliers, and partner with Finance, Legal and the business to deliver sustainable value.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement, experience in indirect categories, and strong skills in negotiation, analytics and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7+ years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or shared services.
• Indirect categories experience, especially Professional Services, HR, Facilities, Sales, or Marketing.
• Demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives, negotiations, contracting, supplier management, and value delivery.
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing, governance, supplier evaluation, risk management, and procurement compliance.
• Strong commercial acumen with should-cost models, benchmarks, and market insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Indirect and Commercial Indirect categories aligned with business priorities.
• Lead sourcing initiatives from demand intake through RFx execution, evaluation, negotiation, contract finalization, and handover to Operational Procurement.
• Identify and apply value levers including cost optimization, demand management, innovation, risk mitigation, and ESG.
• Prepare sourcing events and coordinate with Central Finance on RFx execution and service delivery.
• Maintain the project pipeline and drive continuous improvement against quality, delivery, and performance targets.
• Act as the primary procurement interface for Marketing, Sales, HR, Facilities, and other indirect stakeholders.
• Promote procurement best practices and BuyEasy@Takeda; lead negotiations and contract finalization within thresholds.
• Support supplier selection, performance governance, relationship management, and escalation of supplier risks.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency/alternative sourcing strategies.
• Implement standardized sourcing templates, playbooks, workflows, and governance requirements.
• Explore automation, digital tools, generative AI, and agentic AI to improve processes.
• Support savings targets, value realization, compliance, benefits tracking, and KPI performance.
