Job summary

Cisco Systems Poland sp. Z o.o. is seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to lead the Major Incident Management team and drive enterprise-scale incident responses.

You will set standards, coordinate across regional and global peers, and ensure timely recovery while guiding Incident Managers through complex incidents. The role requires 8+ years in major incident management or related fields, with strong SaaS/cloud operations, leadership, and communication skills to influence across regions

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience in major incident management, critical response, technical operations, SRE, cloud operations, or a comparable enterprise technology function.
• 3 years of direct people-management experience, including accountability for performance and development of direct reports, and coaching or calibrating incident commanders or other response leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the readiness, performance, and development of the Major Incident Management team.
• Set the standards, coverage, and support Incident Managers need to direct effective responses at enterprise scale.
• Partner with regional stakeholders and global peers to stay close to operations, understand regional needs, and remove barriers to efficient responses.
• Coach Incident Managers and provide senior command during complex or high-risk incidents, keeping executives informed about impact and recovery.
• Enable the team to coordinate an effective response and restore service in the incidents with the greatest impact on customers.
