Job summary

The Codest is seeking a skilled IBM Integration Specialist at mid to senior level to join an international project in the banking and financial services sector. You will design, develop and support integrations using IBM ACE, MQ and ITX, and collaborate with teams across borders.

You will work in containers including Kubernetes, troubleshoot complex issues, leverage Python for automation and write SQL against DB2. Willingness to travel to Germany is required.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of commercial experience in systems integration or IBM technologies.
• Experience with IBM Message Broker or ACE, preferably ACE 12.
• Experience with IBM MQ.
• Experience with IBM ITX / Sterling Transformation Extender.
• Python scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between business systems.
• Create, configure and support message flows using IBM ACE / MQ.
• Work with IBM MQ queues, channels and messages; troubleshoot flows.
• Maintain data transformation maps in ITX / Sterling Extender.
• Integrate systems using varied message formats and standards.
• Analyze errors, logs and root causes; implement fixes.
• Support changes across development to production environments.
• Assist Kubernetes deployments and containerised integrations.
• Write SQL queries for DB2 and maintain DB connections.
• Use GitHub and Jenkins for version control, automation and deployment.
• Prepare technical documentation and participate in planning.
