Job summary

The Codest in Kraków, Poland is seeking a skilled IBM Integration Specialist at mid or senior level to join an international project in the banking sector. You will design, develop and maintain integrations using IBM ACE, MQ and ITX, with some Kubernetes deployments.

You will work in a distributed team, independently handling tasks from analysis to implementation, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure platform stability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of commercial integration experience with IBM tech.
• Hands-on with ACE/ACE 12, IBM MQ, STExtender/ITX.
• Scripting: Python; SQL with DB2.
• Unix/Linux basics; GitHub and Jenkins experience.
• Business-fluent English; willingness to travel to Germany.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain integrations between business systems and enterprise applications.
• Create, configure and support message flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise / IBM Message Broker.
• Work with IBM MQ, including queues, channels, messages and troubleshooting of message flow issues.
• Create and maintain data transformation maps in IBM Sterling Transformation Extender / ITX, where applicable.
• Integrate systems using different message formats, interfaces and data exchange standards.
• Analyze integration errors, logs and messages to identify root causes and implement solutions.
• Support changes across development, testing and production environments.
• Support integrations deployed in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Use Python to create scripts for automation, operational support, testing or monitoring purposes.
• Work with DB2 databases and write or analyse SQL queries.
• Use GitHub and Jenkins for version control, automation and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams, application owners and service delivery stakeholders.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures and integration-related materials.
• Participate in requirements analysis, task estimation and change planning.
• Support the team in troubleshooting complex technical issues and ensuring platform stability.
• Contribute to L3-level technical support and continuous service improvement.
