Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang.
• Solid CS fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Experience across the full SDLC from planning to delivery and support.
• Proven experience with high-load, high-traffic production systems.
• Ability to work with large, unfamiliar codebases and drive architectural decisions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proactive mindset."
• Ability to align technical solutions with business and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Own and navigate a large backend ecosystem consisting of multiple services with minimal ramp-up support.
• Develop and maintain backend services using Golang.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code; participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Analyze legacy code to identify debt, issues, and architectural risks.
• Propose and implement improvements; collaborate with product and engineering teams on objectives and roadmaps.
• Advocate for architectural improvements and negotiate technical decisions with peers.
• Contribute to long-term platform evolution while balancing short-term priorities.
• Ensure reliability and performance of high-load production systems.
