Invia x Travelplanet.pl x Wakacje.pl is seeking a Senior Golang Software Engineer focused on Data & Infrastructure. The role blends hands-on coding with research on data structures and scalable processing, centred on the Supply Nexus booking platform.

You’ll work across data ingestion, architecture redesigns, and API integrations, with remote-friendly collaboration and quarterly office visits in Poland. The team emphasizes performance, observability, and modern infra practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years as a software engineer
• 3–4+ years with Go
• Proven experience processing large volumes of data at scale
• Relational and non-relational databases handling large data
• Experience processing very large files and terabyte-scale data
• Experience designing indexes for fast data access
• Strong, practical SQL
• Experience with distributed systems and multiple architecture types
• REST API and gRPC experience
• English B2+
• CI/CD fundamentals and full software delivery lifecycle
• Comfortable navigating legacy codebases

Responsibilities

• Split time ~50/50 between coding/code review and research on data structures and processing approaches
• Maintain and enhance Supply Nexus, including the booking engine
• Integrate data and systems from across the business into one unified platform
• Lead redesign of a legacy service onto a modern platform
• Import and maintain tour operator data feeds with focus on availability
• Process very large files and structure data into terabyte-scale databases
• Design indexes for fast data access
• Handle CI/CD, deployment and cloud resource optimization
• Improve platform performance, scalability, reliability and observability
• Build and improve API integrations across all entities
