Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Senior Backend Engineer (Identity & Access Management) to build a scalable distributed platform and reliable backend solutions. You will design, implement, and operate high-throughput identity services and modern authentication protocols, collaborating with a global customer in the financial and protection services domain.

Must-haves include 7+ years backend experience, 5+ years in Go, IAM in production, and strong security expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, and JWTs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years backend engineering experience
• 5+ years with Go in production
• IAM in production environments
• Strong experience with Go and gRPC in distributed systems
• Deep expertise in OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SSO, MFA, RBAC, JWTs
• Web security and OWASP Top 10
• Cloud/AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Terragrunt, OpenTofu)
• Security-conscious architecture and cryptography

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and operate high-throughput, low-latency identity services (SSO, MFA, session management)
• Implement and scale OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and token formats
• Build clear APIs (gRPC/HTTP) and testable code
• Apply DevOps practices to deploy and manage identity infra (CI/CD, monitoring)
• Integrate with identity providers (Keycloak, AWS Cognito) and federation patterns
