Job summary

COWI is seeking an Advanced Geotechnical Engineer to lead geotechnical design for major infrastructure projects in Warsaw. You will develop innovative solutions for foundations, tunnels, and slopes, coordinate site investigations, and integrate geotechnical input with structural teams.

The role requires a master’s in geotechnical civil engineering, 5+ years of relevant experience, and strong skills in Plaxis, GeoStudio, RocScience, and data tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialization and 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in slope stability analysis, settlement assessment, and foundation design.
• Proficiency with geotechnical software such as Plaxis 2D/3D, GeoStudio and Rocscience.
• Familiarity with data management tools and parametric design tooling.
• Professional English (B2/C1) with willingness for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement geotechnical designs for foundations, slopes, tunnels, and soil-structure interaction.
• Plan and coordinate site investigations and lab testing programs.
• Interpret lab results and site data to inform project decisions.
• Prepare comprehensive client reports with findings and recommendations.
• Guide data-driven project delivery using geotechnical software and parametric tools.
• Collaborate with structural engineers to integrate geotechnical requirements.
• Stay updated on industry practices and regulatory standards.
