Job summary

Genuine Parts Company in Krakow is seeking a Senior Engineer to join the AI team, focusing on Generative AI and modern tech. You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that leverage ML/AI capabilities across the stack, working with staff engineers, product owners, and data scientists.

The role requires a strong background in Python for backend development, familiarity with JavaScript for interfaces, and experience with Google Cloud Platform and Vertex AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, Eng, or related field.
• 4–5 years in full-stack development with Python emphasis.
• Experience with JavaScript (React or similar) is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
• Experience with Generative AI and deploying Large Language Models is a major plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks independently from inception to completion with minimal supervision.
• Explore and apply Generative AI methodologies to business needs.
• Design and implement cloud solutions on GCP and Vertex AI; oversee full lifecycle.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and foster a culture of learning.
