Job summary

Ten Square Games is seeking a hands-on Senior Game Designer to improve Fishing Clash. You will work closely with Product, Development, Analytics, UI/UX, Art and Live Ops to refine core systems, FTUE, progression and live experiences. You will learn the game and players, building clear specs and practical solutions with the team.

You will balance rewards, pacing and motivation, turning ideas into tangible features while collaborating with developers to deliver great moments for players.

Qualifications

• Experience as a game designer, ideally on mobile F2P or live games.
• Strong ability to write clear design specs and communicate cross-functionally.
• Ability to simplify complex systems without losing depth.
• Understanding of player motivation, progression, rewards, and engagement loops.

Responsibilities

• Improve core gameplay systems to be more fun, clear and satisfying.
• Enhance FTUE for smoother onboarding and better retention.
• Design live F2P systems that are engaging yet easy to understand.
• Create clear, actionable design specs for cross-functional teams.
• Balance progression, rewards, difficulty, pacing and motivation.
• Use data and feedback to identify design opportunities.
• Collaborate with developers to understand constraints and practical solutions.
• Learn and apply configs, spreadsheets, version control, or scripts.
