Emerson in Warsaw is seeking a Senior Frontend Software Developer to contribute across the full software lifecycle, shaping scalable, high‑performing web apps with TypeScript and Angular. You will work with a global cross‑functional team to drive design, implementation, testing, and ongoing enhancements.

You will partner with UX, product management, backend, and quality teams, guiding architecture decisions, building reusable components, and ensuring accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience developing complex web applications at a senior level.
• Advanced knowledge of TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, semantic HTML, CSS, and Sass.
• Experience with Angular architecture, reusable components, reactive forms, routing, DI, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with NgRx Store/Effects/selectors and entity-based state management.
• Experience with Angular Material/CDK or similar frameworks for accessible UIs.
• Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience implementing automated unit/integration/component/end-to-end testing.
• Experience integrating frontend with REST APIs including auth, errors, and async data.
• Experience troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and supporting releases.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards, secure frontend development, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, package management, build tools, and CI/CD.
• Experience delivering software using Agile methodologies (Scrum/SAFe).
• English and Polish at B2 level or higher.

• Participate in Program Increment Planning or cross‑team planning with technical insights.
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to support planning.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across complex development activities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Analyze customer and product requirements and translate them into accessible, reliable, and maintainable frontend solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using TypeScript, Angular, RxJS, HTML, and CSS.
• Contribute to frontend architecture and technical decision‑making in collaboration with software architects and engineering teams.
• Build reusable components and libraries aligned with established design systems and engineering standards.
• Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and distributed backend services.
• Create and maintain automated unit, integration, component, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Enhance application performance, accessibility, security, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to support engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to backlog refinement, estimation, sprint planning, and acceptance criteria clarification while helping identify dependencies, risks, and delivery approaches.
• Support the creation and protection of intellectual property through innovative software solutions.
• Collaborate closely with UX designers, Product Management, backend engineers, quality engineers, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to technical documentation, engineering standards, developer tooling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate actively in Program Increment Planning or similar cross‑team planning activities, providing technical insights, estimates, feasibility assessments, and implementation sequencing recommendations.
• Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and challenges transparently to support informed planning and decision‑making.
• Provide technical leadership and coordination across complex development activities.

• Strong understanding of scalable frontend architecture, responsive design principles, browser behavior, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Experience implementing automated unit, integration, component, and end‑to‑end testing using modern frontend testing frameworks.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, including authentication, authorization, error handling, and asynchronous data management.
• Experience troubleshooting applications, performing root‑cause analysis, resolving defects, and supporting software releases.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards, secure frontend development practices, and application performance optimization.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, package management, build tools, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience delivering software using Agile methodologies such as Scrum or SAFe.
• English and Polish language proficiency at B2 level or higher with strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Working knowledge of C#, .NET, or experience integrating with microservice‑based and event‑driven architectures.
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerized development environments, or industrial software products.
• Experience using AI‑assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining software quality, security, confidentiality, and intellectual property protection.
