Job summary

HeadHR is seeking a senior frontend engineer focused on mobile and full-stack integration. You will own product areas from end to end, building mobile-first experiences with React Native, Expo, and TypeScript, while coordinating with backends in Ruby on Rails, Go, and Node.js.

You will drive architecture, ship features rapidly, and explore AI-enabled products like recommendations and video generation, contributing to system design and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in large, well-maintained codebases.
• Recent hands-on React Native and TypeScript experience within the last 2-3 years.
• Strong experience with Node.js and Expo.
• Production experience with AI tools (LLMs, recommendations, or generative video).
• Experience releasing mobile apps to App Store / Google Play.
• Ability to design solutions independently and evaluate trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Own product areas end-to-end across mobile, web, backend, architecture, and delivery quality.
• Build mobile-first experiences with React Native / Expo, TypeScript, NestJS, and Tailwind.
• Integrate with polyglot backends (Ruby on Rails, Go, Node.js).
• Collaborate across teams to ship high-quality features quickly and align with roadmap.
• Drive innovation, including AI-driven products like recommendations, translation, and video generation.
• Drive frontend architecture and development using React, React Native, Expo, and TypeScript.
• Design scalable, high-performance solutions with usability and product experience in mind.
• Participate in system design discussions, architecture planning, and technical decisions.
