Job summary

Appfire is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to drive development of scalable web applications using TypeScript, Node.js, and Effect.ts. You will operate within a cross-functional team, influence product direction, and own features from ideation to release in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.

You will mentor teammates, implement cloud-native patterns, and collaborate with Support and Customer teams to deliver exceptional experiences across JMWE/JMCF ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years delivering scalable, high-volume cloud applications.
• Product-minded contributor who shapes product decisions.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and practical problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Join a cross-functional team and collaborate with engineers, PMs, and leaders.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable apps using TypeScript, Node.js, and Effect.ts.
• Adopt best practices: automated tests, code reviews, pair programming, run-it-yourself concepts.
