The position emphasizes React/TypeScript frontend, Java/Spring Boot backend, microservices, and CI/CD in a hybrid Kraków setting. Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot 3+, React, and Kafka is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit, routing, and frontend performance optimization.
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+.
• Experience with Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, REST APIs, and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade frontend applications using React and TypeScript.
• Build and maintain backend services based on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Develop and support cloud-native solutions deployed on Kubernetes platforms.
• Design and implement event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional Agile teams.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
• Support application modernization and process automation initiatives.

Salary range: 14600 - 22300 PLN gross

What will you do?

You will work on large-scale financial services platforms supporting investment banking operations and digital transformation initiatives in a highly regulated environment. The role combines frontend and backend development, cloud-native engineering, and collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, and high-performing solutions.

Your tasks

• Design and develop enterprise-grade frontend applications using React and TypeScript
• Build and maintain backend services based on Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Develop and support cloud-native solutions deployed on Kubernetes platforms
• Design and implement event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitLab
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional Agile teams
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability
• Contribute to technical design, code reviews, and engineering best practices
• Support application modernization and process automation initiatives

Your skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience in enterprise environments
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, Redux, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript
• Deep understanding of React Hooks, Context API, Redux Toolkit, routing, and frontend performance optimization
• Hands-on experience with Vite and/or Webpack
• Strong experience with Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3+
• Experience with Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, REST APIs, and microservices
• Excellent knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, JVM tuning, and performance optimization
• Practical experience with Apache Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform
• Experience creating and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and fault tolerance
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, clean architecture, TDD, and secure coding practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Microsoft Copilot
• Experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL databases
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services
• Knowledge of Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, ELK, or OpenSearch
• Experience with OpenAPI/Swagger and GraphQL
• Strong testing background using JUnit 5, Mockito, TestContainers, Playwright, Cypress, or React Testing Library
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering standards and architecture decisions
