Job summary

SoftServe is seeking an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to drive AI agent-driven applications on the Microsoft Azure platform. You will own features end-to-end, delivering modern front-end experiences and scalable back-end services with agent orchestration.

You will collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to translate business needs into intuitive agentic experiences while applying responsible AI practices and building secure, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience.
• At least 3 years hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
• Strong React/Angular/Next.js front-end skills with TypeScript.
• Proficiency in C#/.NET and/or Python for back-end services.
• Experience with real-time features via WebSockets/SignalR and API design.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade full stack applications based on AI agents.
• Develop front-end solutions using React, Angular, or Next.js with TypeScript.
• Build conversational UIs with real-time interactions using SignalR or WebSockets.
• Develop scalable back-end services and APIs in C#/.NET and Python.
• Enable agent-to-agent and agent-to-system communication using REST/gRPC.
• Create agentic workflows with tools like Semantic Kernel, LangChain, or similar.
• Integrate LLMs via Azure OpenAI Service and vector databases.
• Design cloud-native architectures using Azure services and data stores.
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions and IaC with Bicep/Terraform.
• Lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and promote engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product/design/data teams to translate business needs into experiences.
• Apply responsible AI practices and secure, observable systems.

About The Role

In this role, you will work on next-generation applications powered by AI agents within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. You will take ownership of features end-to-end, from modern, responsive front-end experiences to scalable back-end services and agent orchestration layers. This role combines strong full-stack engineering expertise with hands-on development of agentic AI solutions on Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade full stack applications based on AI agents and multi-agent architectures
• Develop modern front-end solutions using React, Angular, or Next.js with TypeScript
• Build conversational UIs, streaming responses, and real-time agent interaction experiences using SignalR or WebSockets
• Develop scalable back-end services and APIs using C#/.NET and/or Python FastAPI
• Enable agent-to-agent and agent-to-system communication using REST, gRPC, and MCP
• Build agentic workflows with tools such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangChain/LangGraph, or Azure AI Agent Service
• Integrate LLMs through Azure OpenAI Service, including prompt engineering, function calling, RAG, and streaming responses
• Design cloud-native architectures using Azure Functions, App Service, AKS, Azure Container Apps, Static Web Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid, Cosmos DB, and Azure AI Search
• Create data models and persistence layers using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and vector search for embeddings
• Implement secure, observable, and cost-efficient systems using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Managed Identities
• Set up CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, including infrastructure as code with Bicep or Terraform
• Lead technical design reviews, mentor junior engineers, and promote engineering best practices
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams to translate business needs into intuitive agentic experiences
• Apply responsible AI practices, including content safety, guardrails, evaluation frameworks, and human-in-the-loop UX design

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional full-stack engineering experience
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure ecosystem
• Strong front-end expertise in React, Angular, or Next.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Experience with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or similar
• Strong understanding of responsive and accessible UI design
• Strong back-end experience in C#/.NET and/or Python
• Solid knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and API design
• Hands-on experience building applications with LLMs and agent frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, LangGraph, or similar
• Experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry / AI Studio, and vector databases
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, embeddings, prompt orchestration, and tool/function calling
• Experience building real-time features using WebSockets, SignalR, or Server-Sent Events
• Deep knowledge of Azure services, including compute, messaging, storage, networking, and cloud-native application hosting
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization, including OAuth2, Entra ID, and MSAL
• Experience with secure full-stack development practices
• Practical experience with DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing
• Experience with front-end testing tools such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience with back-end testing tools such as xUnit or pytest
