Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the Asset Pipeline Web Services team in Warsaw. You will build backend services in Python, Node.js, and TypeScript, create APIs, and develop React UIs.

You will design data models, service architectures, and integrations while delivering features end-to-end in a cloud environment. You should have deep expertise in Python and backend development, plus experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, and PostgreSQL.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering at senior level.
• Strong Python and backend development expertise.
• Experience with FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, or comparable frameworks.
• Experience designing maintainable APIs, data models, integrations, and service architectures.
• Hands-on experience developing backend services with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience developing frontend applications with React and TypeScript.
• Good working knowledge of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL.
• Experience deploying, operating, or troubleshooting applications in a public cloud environment.
• Understanding of containerization, CI/CD, application monitoring, and production support.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, secure API design and general web application security.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals including automated testing, code review, debugging, and maintainable design.
• Ownership mindset and ability to communicate clearly in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Interest in gradually developing toward a Coordinator position with organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining backend services and APIs using Python as well as Node.js and TypeScript.
• Delivering features end to end, from data models and service architecture through React-based user interfaces.
• Improving reliability, security, maintainability, and performance of our systems.
• Designing integrations between internal applications, production systems, and external services.
• Deploying, monitoring, and troubleshooting applications in a cloud environment.
• Collaborating with product, UX, infrastructure, and game development teams to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Taking ownership of larger work areas and breaking them into deliverables.
• Gradually taking on coordination responsibilities, organizing day-to-day work and communication.
• Contributing to code reviews, technical documentation, and improvement of engineering practices.
