Edvantis is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a data‑driven energy SaaS project. You will work on the back-end microservices with Java/Kotlin and Angular, ensuring security, performance, and scalability in a high‑volume environment.

You will design, review, and implement features, contribute to API design, and help shape technical decisions while collaborating across teams. English proficiency is required; remote-first with flexible hours are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience in building SaaS applications.
• Strong commercial experience with Java and Kotlin.
• Experience in building microservices and working with relational databases, plus familiarity with document-based databases.
• Solid understanding of the design principles behind secure and scalable applications.
• Excellent knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Proven experience using AI tools to speed up software development while maintaining code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Experience with AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience working in a CI/CD environment.
• English level – Upper-Intermediate or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a SaaS application built with Java, Kotlin, and Angular.
• Design, create, and maintain microservices backed by relational and document-based databases.
• Write, review, and revise code in your area of expertise.
• Lead code reviews, API design reviews, and technical reviews of the products.
• Take part in scoping, estimating, and planning projects.
• Debug, investigate, and resolve bugs and Customer’s issues.
• Maintain and strengthen the core platform, ensuring strong authentication, security, and reliability across a large application and its supporting microservices.
• Tune SQL queries and database performance to keep high-volume workloads fast and reliable.
• Help oversee project strategies and processes, and coordinate tasks among team members.
