Job summary

Capgemini is hiring a senior Java/Angular developer to join a cross-functional team shaping scalable, secure applications. You will design and implement UI with Angular and RESTful APIs with Spring, ensuring strong data flow between frontend and backend.

You’ll work closely with product managers, designers and DevOps to optimize performance, reliability and CI/CD processes, delivering features end-to-end in a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Java developer.
• Proven hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 3 years experience in front-end including Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, (NgRx).
• German proficiency at least B2.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
• Experience with DevOps tools and practices: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS.
• Advanced understanding of Maven, JUnit, REST API design, design patterns, and databases like MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Strong knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures, with Kafka experience.
• Familiarity with SonarQube and infrastructure-as-code (Helm, Istio).

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of UI with Angular, architect and maintain robust RESTful APIs with Java/Spring.
• Ensure smooth data flow between front and back end services and optimize performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with DevOps on deployment and CI/CD pipelines for reliable cycles.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and drive feature development.
• Manage complex bug fixes to ensure stability and security of applications.
