Job summary

Rendair is building an AI-powered creative platform where users generate, edit, and collaborate on visual content in real time. We seek a senior full-stack engineer who ships features end to end on the modern React/Next.js stack and owns the backend, data modeling, and UI polish.

You will design generation workflows, collaborate on canvases and assets, and ensure performance, observability, and accessibility across the product. Remote-friendly, product-led, and focused on ownership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development, with 3+ years in React and TypeScript.
• Production-level experience with Next.js App Router, server components, and related patterns.
• Experience building and operating a real SaaS backend with multi-tenant data models and background jobs.
• Experience integrating external APIs at scale with robust retry and error handling.
• Strong product sense and focus on empty states, loading experiences, and error messaging.
• Able to work in a small team with high ownership and minimal handholding.

Responsibilities

• Design and build user-facing features across the full stack: generation workflows, canvas tools, asset libraries, team workspaces, and sharing/collaboration.
• Model data and write backend functions in Convex, including real-time queries, mutations, scheduled jobs, and access control.
• Own frontend performance and quality: RSC/client boundaries, bundle size, loading states, optimistic updates, and accessibility.
• Set up and maintain observability: error tracking, performance monitoring, and alerting.
• Contribute to internationalization, design-system consistency, and developer experience.
