Job summary

Luxoft in Poland is seeking an experienced software engineer to build reusable platform capabilities and data products for quantitative researchers, enabling discovery, access, and consumption of data across a complex landscape. You will collaborate with business teams, analysts, and architects, write production-grade Python backends and React frontends, and design robust APIs with FastAPI and OpenAPI.

AWS experience and CI/CD pipelines are valued.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong Python backend with clean, maintainable production code.
Frontend experience with React.
API design and delivery using FastAPI with OpenAPI/Swagger.
Cloud experience on AWS beyond core services.
Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
Experience applying agentic AI approaches to software engineering.
Hands-on with Claude Code, VS Code Copilot, and AI skills.

Responsibilities

Work closely with business team, analysts, and architects to understand new requirements and identify changes to the system.
Collaborate daily with development teams, designers, copy writers and other IT teams.
Develop and present recommendations from analysis; assist in peer reviews and contribute to development processes.
Offer solutions to improve efficiency; defend recommendations with clear justification.
Communicate with both client-facing and internal audiences and demonstrate technical thought leadership across the SDLC.
