Job summary

Luxoft Poland is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer (Java + React) to help build an AI-enabled application platform for an investment banking client. You will design scalable back-end services with Java/Spring Boot and craft responsive front-end with React and TypeScript.

You'll leverage AI-assisted tools like GitHub Copilot, implement generative AI features, and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines while mentoring teammates and aligning with agile practices.

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Java 11+) and Spring / Spring Boot.
• Proven experience delivering full-stack features end to end, from UI to back-end services and the database.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants in daily development.
• Practical knowledge of generative AI and prompt engineering, including integrating LLM APIs into applications.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with agile practices (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
• Good communication skills and the ability to state requirements clearly to other teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot).
• Build responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Use AI-assisted development tools to speed up delivery while maintaining quality and security.
• Design and integrate generative AI features, including prompt engineering and LLM integration.
• Define and consume RESTful APIs and communicate requirements across teams.
• Mentor the team on architecture and best practices, including responsible AI use.
• Lead code reviews and pair programming to raise technical level.
• Translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.
• Apply clean code principles and improve CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, E2E).
• Participate in Scrum/Kanban ceremonies and collaborate with QA and product teams.
