Job summary

Google Cloud engineers develop next-generation technologies to connect billions of users worldwide. This Software Engineer role focuses on ELT/ETL capabilities, data processing, and scalable distributed systems across Cloud Composer and Dataform.

As part of a versatile team, you will own features end-to-end, collaborate with product and UX, and contribute to high-impact projects for customers across more than 200 countries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with full-stack engineering to build front and back end features, UI rendering, server-side optimizations, and infrastructures.
• Experience coding with JavaScript, TypeScript, or AngularJS.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new User Interface elements for Cloud Composer and Dataform and change existing ones to improve User Experience (UX).
• Implement Google Cloud configuration capabilities for Cloud Composer and Dataform.
• Work with Product Management and UX to define product requirements that put the user first.
• Partner with back-end teams on Application Programming Interface (API)/system designs.
• Participate in monitoring and debugging efforts, support frequent releases.
