Job summary

N-iX is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a cross-functional team building an AI-driven document processing platform. This 70% frontend / 30% backend role emphasizes Python back-end work and strong TypeScript frontend skills (React/Next.js).

You’ll deliver scalable APIs, data workflows, and UI components powering document automation, dashboards, and internal tools, while collaborating with GenAI and platform teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend and full-stack work.
• Solid experience in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar).
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript and front-end frameworks (React, Next.js, or similar).
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing microservices, APIs, and backend systems.
• Strong understanding of databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL (MongoDB, Firestore).
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Git, and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles: scalability, reliability, performance, security.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build front-end components and UIs using TypeScript (React, Next.js, or similar).
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar).
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and microservices with strong performance and observability.
• Collaborate with GenAI engineers to integrate AI-driven features and document-processing flows.
• Implement data processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Work with AWS.
• Contribute to architecture, design patterns, and technical decisions.
• Write automated tests and ensure code quality, maintainability, and security.
• Partner with product managers, designers, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
• Document code, service interfaces, workflows, and architectural decisions.
