Job summary

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, seeks a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features from the Vue interfaces to Django APIs, including pricing and eligibility engines for a mortgage marketplace. You will work across the stack with a focus on performance, scalability, and UI/UX quality.

The role requires deep experience with Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, Django, and REST APIs, plus a track record in complex platform environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production software in a full‑stack role.
• 3+ years hands-on Vue.js + TypeScript experience.
• Strong Python + Django, REST API design, and database skills.
• Experience in complex platform companies with real integrations and scale.
• Clear communication and good UI/UX sense.

Responsibilities

• Build features end to end across the stack (Vue 3 + TS frontend, Django + DRF backend).
• Evolve core pricing and eligibility engines for mortgage marketplace.
• Integrate with LOS platforms, due diligence providers, and data vendors.
• Design data models and scalable pipelines for growing volumes.
• Write tests using pytest, Vitest, and Playwright.

Matrix Eastern Europe, the offshore division of Matrix IT, one of the leading global R&D services companies with more than 11,000 professionals, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with Vue.js, Python and Django to join one of our teams!

Our client is a direct marketplace for mortgages, connecting whole loan lenders and investors with smarter pricing, automated eligibility, and end-to-end transaction management. We are transforming an industry that still runs on spreadsheets and email.

You will own features end to end — from the Vue interfaces our lenders and investors work in daily, through the Django APIs behind them, down to the pricing and eligibility engines that decide what a loan is worth and who will buy it. Wide surface area, real ownership, and you will see the impact the same week you ship.

Responsibilities

• Build features across the stack. Vue 3 + TypeScript on the front, Django + DRF on the back.
• Evolve our core engines. Loan pricing and investor eligibility matching.
• Integrate with the mortgage ecosystem. LOS platforms, due diligence providers, credit and valuation vendors.
• Design data models and background pipelines that stay fast as volume grows.
• Write the tests that keep it all honest. pytest, Vitest, Playwright.

Requirements

• Daily, hands-on work with AI coding agents — Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, or similar. You run several in parallel and know where their output needs your judgment.
• Hands-on experience building AI into a product — LLM features, agents, retrieval, evaluation. Not only coding with AI tools.
• 5+ years building production software, with real depth on both sides of the stack.
• 3+ years hands-on Vue.js + TypeScript — this is a Vue shop.
• Strong Python + Django, solid REST API instincts, and real database skills — schema design, query performance, safe migrations.
• Experience in complex platform companies — real integrations, real data, real scale.
• A strong eye for UI/UX and clear communication.
