Job summary

Natek is seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the Maritime Digital Development team in Gdynia, Poland. You will contribute to a web-oriented ecosystem of microservices using Microsoft technologies, deploying on-premises and in Azure, and helping customers report CO2 emissions from fleets.

You will collaborate with global teams to design scalable software, implement APIs, and stay current with industry trends, empowering the maritime sector’s digital transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 8+ years of professional experience designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable software using the Microsoft stack (.NET/C#, React, TypeScript, WebComponents, WebAPI GraphQL, NServiceBus, MS SQL)
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, APIs, and modern system design principles
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills

Join Natek as a Full Stack Developer. We are looking for a Software Engineer to become part of our Maritime Digital Development team based in Gdynia, Poland.

We are seeking a highly motivated professional to support the growth of our development center in Gdynia. As a member of the global Maritime development team, you will contribute to delivering innovative solutions and helping our customers achieve their objectives.

Our platform is a web-oriented ecosystem of microservices built with the latest Microsoft technologies and open-source solutions, deployed both on-premises and in the Azure cloud. It makes innovative use of web components for composition, as well as machine learning and AI for data analysis and tools supporting users.

The maritime industry is working to reduce CO2 emissions from international shipping, and we play an important role in supporting this ambition. As a classification society, we strive to maintain our leading position by driving the digital transformation of assurance in the maritime sector and taking on new third‑party roles across a broader part of the value chain. We strongly believe that our digitalization initiatives are essential to achieving these objectives.

Class Developments is responsible for the maritime digital platform and consists of around 200 employees. Multiple development teams manage more than 300 business‑critical applications used 24/7 by thousands of internal and external users worldwide. Our development team in Gdynia works closely with the business to deliver software solutions that enable customers to report CO2 emissions from their fleets and help end users verify this data.

Your Responsibilities

• Collaborating with teams across different locations to architect solutions, tackle real problems, and see projects through to completion.
• Designing and developing applications where data plays a central role in the product.
• Implementing a robust set of services and APIs to support the applications.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Staying updated on the latest technology trends.
• Sharing and discussing technology with a wide network of like‑minded colleagues.

Our Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
• 8+ years of professional experience in designing, developing, and delivering robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions using the Microsoft technology stack, including: .NET (C#), React, TypeScript, WebComponents, WebAPI GraphQL, NServiceBus, MS SQL.
• Strong knowledge of microservice architecture, APIs, and modern system design principles.
• Experience working across the full application lifecycle.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies.
• Fluent in English, with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders.
