Job summary

SoftServe seeks a Senior Frontend Developer to shape the UI of a data-heavy web app for a German transmission system operator. You will own the frontend from import/validation to filtering and visualization, interfacing with backend and content platform specialists.

You will use React, Next.js, TypeScript, Nest.js for BFF, and integrate with Sitecore XM Cloud. Strong German (C1) and English skills are required, with Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Azure hosting.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
1+ year of experience with headless CMS platforms, preferably Sitecore XM Cloud or comparable.
Proven experience with microfrontend architectures and with backend-for-frontend implementations using Nest.js.
3+ years of experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs.
Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS in modern web applications, including Tailwind CSS and UI component libraries such as Radix UI.
Practical experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines.
Experience with monorepo-based development environments.
Scalable frontend architectures in enterprise environments.
Frontend performance optimization.
Fluent German (C1) and very good English for client interaction and documentation.

Responsibilities

Develop the application frontend with React, Next.js, and TypeScript for data-heavy workflows.
Build and maintain the backend-for-frontend layer with Nest.js and expose UI via REST/GraphQL APIs.
Integrate with a headless CMS (Sitecore XM Cloud or similar) for content delivery.
Implement bulk import/export (e.g., from Excel) with validation, filtering, and visualization.
Structure the UI as microfrontends using Tailwind CSS and Radix UI components.
Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and client stakeholders on features.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and deploy to Azure.
Contribute to code reviews and frontend best practices.
