Job summary

Jacobs is expanding its Digital & Data Hub in Kraków and seeks a Front-end Developer with 5+ years of experience to build immersive, data-driven interfaces using React/Next.js and TypeScript. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience.
  • Strong command of React, Next.js, TypeScript, WebRTC, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Drive front-end development for Omniverse-integrated applications.
  • Translate Figma designs into responsive, performant web interfaces.
  • Develop and maintain scalable React/Next.js applications.
  • Coordinate with backend and connector teams to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and microservices.
  • Define front-end standards, code quality, and documentation.
  • Provide guidance and code reviews to mid‑level and junior developers.
  • End‑to‑end design and delivery of advanced UI components or modules.
  • Participate in agile sprint planning and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Support DevOps/Cloud integration for deployment pipelines (Azure/AWS/Kubernetes).

Your impact

At Jacobs, we're embarking on an exciting journey as we initiate the development of our Digital & Data Hub in the heart of Krakow. Our mission is to undertake projects spanning various industries, including Consumer and Manufacturing, Defence and Security, Energy and Utilities, Financial Services, Government and Public Services, Health and Life Sciences, and Transport.

We are currently seeking a Front-end developer who will work with local teammates as well as collaborate closely with our U.S.-based Digital Twin Product Team, contributing to immersive, data-driven experiences that integrate geospatial, asset, and environmental data within Omniverse-based platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Drive front-end development efforts for Omniverse-integrated applications
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate Figma designs into responsive, performant web interfaces
  • Develop and maintain scalable React/Next.js applications
  • Coordinate with backend and connector teams to integrate APIs, data pipelines, and microservices
  • Define front-end technical standards, code quality practices, and documentation
  • Provide guidance, code reviews, and technical support to mid‑level and junior developers
  • Take end‑to‑end responsibility for designing, implementing, and delivering advanced UI components or modules
  • Participate in agile sprint planning and cross-functional collaboration with design, backend, and AI teams
  • Support DevOps/Cloud integration for deployment pipelines (Azure/AWS/Kubernetes)
Here’s what you’ll need
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of front-end development experience
  • Solid command of React, Next.js, TypeScript, WebRTC, and modern JavaScript frameworks
  • Practical knowledge of Figma, component libraries, and design systems
  • Understanding of API integration, RESTful/GraphQL, and web performance optimization
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and Git-based CI/CD workflows
Nice to have
  • Hands-on experience using 3D rendering libraries within React applications
  • Exposure to NVIDIA Omniverse
  • Experience with Python, C#, or C++ for backend or plugin interoperability
  • Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure (Azure, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Understanding of digital twin principles, environmental modeling, or data visualization
  • Prior experience in consulting or cross-functional engineering environment
