Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking an experienced Python programmer to develop and maintain a risk management platform built on the Front Arena system, supporting trading and risk teams in a financial institution.

You will work with Front Office IT developers, risk specialists, and business stakeholders to tailor the platform, implement models, and integrate with external systems such as Avaloq and master data management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience with the Front Arena Risk Management system.
• Practical knowledge of AEL, ACM, and ADFL.
• Strong Python programming skills with production experience.
• Good understanding of financial products including valuation and lifecycle.
• Experience with external systems such as Avaloq and master data management.
• Very good command of English - minimum B2.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Front Arena platform using AEL, ACM, and ADFL.
• Implement and enhance valuation and risk calculation models (pricing, MTM, scenario analysis).
• Create Python-based components to extend system capabilities.
• Integrate with external systems such as Avaloq and master data management.
• Analyze lifecycle of financial products including Fixed Income, Equity, and derivatives.
• Collaborate with trading and risk teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Provide troubleshooting and production support for risk and trading systems.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced Python programmer to develop and maintain a risk management platform based on the Front Arena system, supporting trading and risk teams in a financial institution. You will work in a team consisting of Front Office IT developers, risk specialists, and business stakeholders, closely collaborating with traders and risk managers. Your role will include platform development and customization, as well as integration with external systems.

Your tasks

• Development and customization of the Front Arena platform using AEL, ACM, and ADFL
• Implementation and enhancement of valuation and risk calculation models, such as pricing, MTM, and scenario analysis
• Creating Python-based components to extend system capabilities and support integration
• Integration with external systems such as Avaloq and master data management systems
• Analysis and management of the lifecycle of financial products, including Fixed Income, Equity, and derivatives
• Collaboration with trading and risk teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
• Troubleshooting and production support for risk and trading systems

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience working with the Front Arena Risk Management system
• Practical knowledge of AEL, ACM, and ADFL with experience in their application
• Strong Python programming skills with experience in building production applications
• Good understanding of financial products, including valuation, risk management, and lifecycle processes
• Experience with external systems such as Avaloq and master data management systems
• Very good command of English - minimum B2 level

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the Avaloq Banking system
