Job summary

ING Hubs Poland is seeking a Fraud Rule Writer III to monitor trends, analyze data, and create rules in our application. You will work with cross-functional teams to protect end clients and support clients across ING Group divisions in Europe.

The role emphasizes SQL, data analysis, and awareness of cyber threats, with opportunities to use VBA/Python and PowerBI for dashboards. This is a growth-focused, Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master level or STEM graduate required.
• Experience analyzing large data sets and basic statistics.
• Experience writing SQL queries and optimizing them.
• Knowledge of cybercrime threats (phishing, malware, etc.).
• Basic programming knowledge and willingness to learn new languages.
• Knowledge of regular expressions.
• Familiarity with fuzzy logic.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and data-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fraudulent patterns and cybercrime to determine counteractions.
• Prepare reports and statistics—especially with regard to business rules.
• Write rules to support our application in protecting end clients.
• Create queries in SQL and code in high-level programming languages.
• Support and cooperate with clients.
• Collaborate with other teams within our area—alerts handlers, business analysts, developers, etc.
