Job summary

pofft Technology Inc. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer in Poland to embed with product teams, shaping AI-enabled solutions across data pipelines, model serving, and MLOps.

You will translate business needs into production-ready AI services and work hands-on across the stack. You will lead discovery, design new services when needed, and ensure reliability, observability, and performance while collaborating with stakeholders and engineers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience across production systems.
• Proficient Python, and able to work with other languages.
• Experience with cloud-native services, Azure AKS, Blob Storage, Key Vault.
• Experience integrating LLMs into production apps and APIs.
• Experience building agentic applications using tools, APIs, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience designing production RAG and retrieval architectures.

Responsibilities

• Embed directly with product teams to understand business flows and identify AI opportunities.
• Lead technical discovery to separate bottlenecks from symptoms.
• Spot where AI services can be applied or extended to solve problems and help design AI-first apps.
• If no existing service fits, gather requirements and collaborate to scope, design, and build a new service.
• Work hands-on with data pipelines, model training, serving, and MLOps tooling behind AI services.
• Ship a working first version quickly and then harden with monitoring and production-grade reliability.
• Translate product pain points into actionable input for the AI services roadmap.
• Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and engineering leads, communicating trade-offs clearly.
