Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Business Process Quality Senior Professional in Kraków to lead FMEA activities across products and processes. You will partner with R&D, engineering, and manufacturing to improve reliability and drive continuous improvement across the lifecycle.

The role emphasizes risk assessment, coaching teams on FMEA best practices, and cross-location knowledge sharing to deliver high-quality transformer technologies for the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Production/Materials) or related discipline.
• 5+ years in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, or related technical field.
• Proven experience with quality management methodologies, particularly FMEA.
• Strong analytical, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in power transformer design and manufacturing is an advantage; fluent in English and willing to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate Design and Process FMEA workshops for new and existing products, processes, and technologies.
• Conduct risk assessments for product designs and manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for transformers, switchgears, breakers, and other high-voltage equipment.
• Ensure effective application of FMEA methodologies and maintain high standards across activities.
• Coach and support teams in FMEA principles and best practices.
• Provide quality expertise to R&D projects to promote preventive quality approaches.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product and process performance.
• Share knowledge and best practices across global locations.
