Job summary

Swarovski is seeking a Senior Financial Controller to join its Global Business Services team in Poland. The role combines finance leadership with business partnering across planning, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will own closing processes, forecast cycles, and cost planning while driving data quality and process improvements. Fluency in English is essential, German is a plus, and SAP proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• University degree in economics, business administration, finance or related field.
• 5+ years in Controlling, Accounting or Finance Business Partnering in an international setting.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities; precise and timely execution.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, half-year and year-end closing activities including P&L reviews and management comments.
• Coordinate rolling forecasts and annual budgets for entities and functions.
• Ensure accurate master data, intercompany recharging and transfer-pricing adjustments.
• Plan and report personnel costs including variable compensation and restructuring provisions.
• Act as business partner by delivering financial insights and actionable recommendations.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and respond to management requests in a timely manner.
• Lead cross-functional finance projects and improve controlling processes.

About the job

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Own monthly, half-year and year-end closing activities, including P&L reviews, management comments and Financial Review materials
• Coordinate rolling forecasts and annual budgets for assigned entities and functions
• Ensure accurate master data, intercompany recharging, transfer-pricing adjustments and controlling data quality
• Plan and report personnel costs, including variable compensation and restructuring provisions
• Act as a business partner for assigned stakeholders by providing financial insights, scenario calculations and actionable recommendations
• Perform ad-hoc analyses and provide timely and reliable responses to management and stakeholder requests
• Contribute to or lead cross-functional finance and business projects (such as MANI)
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, propose corrective actions and follow up on their implementation
• Collaborate closely with the Wattens team, Accounting, GBS, Tax, HR and other functions.
• Improve controlling processes, reporting tools, documentation and knowledge transfer

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

• University degree or university-level education, preferably in economics, business administration, business accounting, finance or a certified public accountant degree
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in Controlling, Accounting, or Finance Business Partnering within an international environment
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Reliable execution under tight closing deadlines
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Proactive, assertive and solution-oriented approach
• High ownership, precision and control awareness
• Advanced SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint skills; Power BI is a plus
• Excellent command of English; German is a strong asset
