Overview
Position Overview: Based in the Exact Sciences Poland office in Warsaw, the Sr. financial Analyst Portfolio Intl Markets, will work in the Finance team to improve and support all aspects of planning and performance management including quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, long-range plan, mid-range plan, and reporting and variance analyses for the new portfolio launches. The Sr. Financial Portfolio Analyst partners with the portfolio leaders across international business to support the success of our international expansion. This position reports to Associate Director International Markets based in Zug.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the portfolio team and local commercial teams to ensure first-in-class financial planning and reporting for all the new portfolio of product and upcoming pipelines to support bring visibility and ensure sound business decisions.
- Work closely with country managers and functional leaders to support target delivery (revenue, costs and profitability).
- Develop and implement financial scorecards to track portfolio launches' success aligned with business plans and targets. Identify areas of deviation and promptly advise about root causes and opportunities.
- Partner with the portfolio team to review, analyse and develop models for investment cases looking at key return on investment KPIs.
- Partner with market analysts to develop sound financial analysis and discounted cash flow analysis models for investments review.
- Prepare monthly, annual reporting, quarterly forecast for all countries and product launches.
- Develop tools and models to project different portfolio launch scenarios and monitor successful execution.
- Support OneStream report implementation including testing, design and interface with IT support.
- Prepare, analyze and assist in the preparation of the company’s annual operating plan and reforecasts on both operating expenses and revenue. Lead process with the respective countries/areas of responsibility.
- Document, evaluate, and develop more efficient reports to enable scalability.
- Monitor FX impacts on financial performance.
- Support training to improve financial knowledge across the organization.
- Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities according to internal policies and US GAAP by partnering with the global accounting team.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc financial reports and financial analysis models.
- Maintain regular interactions and collaboration with the global finance team.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics.
- 7+ years of progressive financial-related experience demonstrating the ability to work collaboratively with operational or support functions.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Technical and system savvy, ideally strong knowledge on BI, Tableau and other reporting systems.
- Desire to develop business and industry acumen to build a financial business partnership culture across the organization.
- Fluent English written and spoken. Another European language will be a strong plus.
- Strong team player.
- Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills. Ability to handle and consolidate large data sets to support insightful analysis.
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Demonstrated strong business partnership skills in previous work experience.
- Proactive and pragmatic approach.
- High IT, system savvy, ideally experienced with financial consolidation and reporting tools: OneStream, Tableau.
